Our Savior's Lutheran Church is located in Cornell, Wisconsin. Our Savior's is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).
We invite you to make Our Savior's Lutheran Church your church home. Whatever your situation - single, family, a single parent, new to the community or a long-time resident - come share with us in the joy of worshiping together.
As we look to the future we continue to give thanks for God's grace and ask that we who have been blessed may continue to be a blessing to others, not only in Cornell but by means of our mission through our synod and national mission of our ELCA.
We believe it is the mission of the congregation of Our Savior's Lutheran Church to accept our Christ-given responsibility to be evangelizers, (Matthew 16:15-16) an evangelizer being one who makes an earnest effort for the spread of the Gospel. Together with this responsibility to be evangelizers comes the call to live according to all that the Gospel teachers us. This includes:
- WORSHIP - We are created by God to be a worshiping people, to pray, praise, give thanks and make use of the sacraments as a means of grace.
- WITNESS - We are called to witness to the love and redemption of Jesus Christ through our teaching, preaching, corporate actions, and individual life styles.
- WELCOME - We are commanded by Christ to love one another (John 13:34-35) and through this love we should strive to make all people feel welcome in our congregational family at all times.
- WORK - To continue the work of Jesus' ministry by doing for and reaching out to others in our congregation, our community, and to the rest of the world. To do the work of the church we must involve ourselves in other people's lives, so that they may learn to respond to God's love through a life of service to Him and to each other.
